Ichie Ikenna Okafor is a graduate of Benson Idahosa University– Edo state, Nigeria where he obtained a degree in International Studies and Diplomacy.

After trying his hands in some other enterprises, he cut his teeth in the Bureau De Change (BDC) industry at Ricky Finance BDC Ltd, Lagos State where as a dedicated and results-driven Managing Director, he spearheaded the establishment of operations, overseeing currency exchange services, compliance and customer relationship management.

He is currently the Managing Director of Raptas BDC Ltd where he boasts of more than 15 years of experience in inspiring operational excellence by streamlining processes and enhancing compliance with CBN and anti-money laundering regulations.
He has a proven record of accomplishment in successfully leading BDCs, optimising operations, adept at managing risk, building strong relationships, and ensuring profitability.
He has proved passion and expertise in contributing to Nigeria’s financial stability and economic growth.

He has furthermore established a retinue of successful businesses spanning from the capital market, hospitality to automobile. Like our people would say, he brought his wealth of experience and God's financial blessings home through various community based initiatives and humanitarian causes. 

These include;

Assistance in laying the foundation for the Umunaee-Ozalla Civic Center.
Co-refurbishing the Community Primary School in Umuanee,
Facilitated the sinking of a borehole in his village, Ezhi Obodo, which services the neighbouring communities,
The installation of the Amaegu transformer and cable wires, which had been vandalized and managed the payment of the accumulated electricity bill for the six villages in Umuanee running into millions of naira.

Educational grants and support to indigent students.

This and many more earned him the recognition and conferment with the title of Ikeoha (Strength of the People) by HRH Igwe Crescent Okafor (Chinawaeze 1 of Ozalla, Anee of Anee).

He is currently the Prime Minister of Umuanee Ozalla Autonomous Community in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

As a high achiever, his addition to the Board makes for an appreciable balance.
